Imports of goods and services into the US decreased 0.1% to $350.5 billion in May 2025, the lowest in seven months. Goods imports decreased $0.2 billion to $277.7 billion, mainly due to computer accessories (down $2.8 billion), finished metal shapes (down $1.7 billion), other textile apparel and household goods (down $0.8 billion), and toys, games, and sporting goods (down $0.7 billion). On the other hand, imports rose for computers (up $4.4 billion), passenger cars (up $3.1 billion), pharmaceutical preparations (up $2.5 billion), and nuclear fuel materials (up $0.6 billion).
