The RealClearMarkets/TIPP Economic Optimism Index, a key measure of US consumer confidence, jumped 13.4% in November to 53.2, the highest in over three years. This marks the first time the index has been positive since September 2021, ending a 38-month negative streak, spurred by President Donald Trump's return to office. Americans’ outlook on their personal finances rose significantly, with the Personal Financial Outlook climbing from 53.6 in October to 61.0 in November. The Six-Month Economic Outlook also improved, moving up from 47.3 to 55.9, showing increased confidence in future economic conditions. Additionally, confidence in Federal Economic Policies rose from 39.7 to 42.7. Both investors (up to 57.8) and non-investors (up to 50.5) reported stronger optimism compared to previous months.
