Taiwan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.33% in October from 3.35% in September. The number of unemployed declined by 3,000 month-over-month to 404,000, while total employment rose by 5,000 to 11.64 million. The youth unemployment rate for those aged 20–24 eased to 11.81% from 12.01%. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate ticked up slightly to 59.54% from 59.51% in the previous month.
