Poland’s trade deficit widened to EUR 1.02 billion in September 2025 from EUR 0.55 billion a year earlier, as imports jumped 7.3% to a six-month high of EUR 31.09 billion, driven by stronger purchases of consumer goods, arms, capital goods, and fuels. Meanwhile, exports grew 5.8% to EUR 30.07 billion, the highest since October 2024, supported by increased sales of agricultural goods, passenger cars, and household appliances. Over the first nine months of 2025, Poland’s trade gap widened to EUR 9.95 billion from EUR 2.95 billion in the same period last year.
