Poland recorded a €59 million trade surplus in June 2025, swinging from a €533 million deficit a year earlier and snapping a 13-month run of shortfalls, as exports climbed and imports edged lower. Exports rose 1.9% year-on-year to €28.0 billion, marking a second straight month of growth, driven by higher shipments of clothing, toys, pharmaceuticals and agricultural goods, as well as a gradual rebound in the automotive sector, including passenger cars, buses and road tractors. However, exports of consumer durables continued to fall, with their share in total exports dropping to the lowest level of the 21st century. Imports slipped 0.2% to €27.9 billion, weighed down by lower oil prices and subdued activity in the domestic industrial sector. Growth in consumer goods imports, which had been strong in previous months, stalled in June.
