The unemployment rate in Kazakhstan remained unchanged at 4.7 percent in Q2 of 2024, same as the past five quarters. The number of unemployed was little changed from a year ago at 451 thousand persons, while the number of employed went up by 75.3 thousand to 9190 thousand. Meanwhile, youth jobless rate for those aged between 15-34 fell to 3.2% from 3.6% a year earlier.
