Foreign exchange reserves in Hong Kong stood at $421.5 billion in January 2025, unchanged from the revised figure in December 2024. There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts in January 2025. The amount represented more than five times the currency in circulation, or about 39% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
