Germany's current account surplus narrowed to €11.8 billion in January 2025 from €20.9 billion in the previous month. The goods surplus declined to €9.2 billion from €10.5 billion, the primary income surplus went down to €14.1 billion from €19.6 billion, and the services deficit widened to €6 billion from €0.5 billion. Meanwhile, the secondary income gap decreased to €5.5 billion from €8.6 billion.
