Official reserve assets in France rose to a new all-time high of €295.98 billion at the end of February 2025, from €292.59 billion in the previous month. This represents an increase of €3.39 billion, driven mainly by a rise in gold reserves (€215.197 billion vs €211.431 billion in January). However, decreases were observed in foreign currency reserves (€33.395 vs €33.542 billion), claims on the IMF (€40.830 vs €41.029 billion), and other reserve assets (€6.562 billion vs €6.588 billion).
