The industry confidence indicator in the Euro Area increased to -10.3 in May 2025, the highest since March 2024, from an upwardly revised -11 in April and above forecasts of -11. Production expectations improved (1.5 vs 0.4), alongside order books (-24.4 vs -25.1), employment (-4 vs -4.4) and selling-price expectations (7.9 vs 10.6).
