El Salvador reported a trade deficit of USD 768.85 million in June 2024, widening from the USD 710.21 million gap recorded in the same month the previous year. Exports increased by 1.01% year-over-year to USD 574.48 million, driven by an increase in the export of consumer goods, especially coffee (35.81%), and non-traditional goods (4.07%). Meanwhile, imports also increased by 5.04% to USD 1,343.33 million.
