Consumer prices in Ecuador rose by 1.48% year-on-year in June 2025, following a 0.46% increase in the previous month, marking the highest level since November 2024. Public services registered the most significant annual increase and rebounded after being in deflationary territory (13.54% vs. 3.33% in May), as well as food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.78% vs. 0.39%), and hotels and restaurants (1.44% vs. 1.26%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.06%, down from the 1.03% increase recorded in the previous month.
