Denmark’s unemployment rate stood at 2.6% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous two months and remaining at its highest level since November 2024. The number of unemployed individuals increased by 0.2 thousand from a month earlier to 78.1 thousand, with the unemployment rate unchanged for both men and women at 2.8% and 3.0%, respectively. Net unemployment benefit recipients decreased by 0.2 thousand to 68.9 thousand, while cash assistance recipients rose by 0.4 thousand to 9.5 thousand, mainly due to an increased influx of Ukrainians with residence permits who are considered job-ready. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, representing job-seekers aged 16 to 24, edged up by 0.1 percentage points to 1.3%, while it decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 4.8% for those aged 25-29 and remained unchanged for the other age groups.
