Denmark's seasonally adjusted goods and services trade surplus increased to DKK 27.2 billion in March 2025, up from a downwardly revised DKK 25.3 billion in the previous month. Exports dropped by 1.0% month-over-month to DKK 174.3 billion, weighed down by declines in goods exports (-0.5%) and services exports (-1.6%). Imports fell by 2.3% to DKK 147.2 billion, driven by a 4.7% drop in goods imports, while services imports grew by 0.3%. For the first quarter of the year, the country posted a DKK 72.4 billion surplus, widening from DKK 61.1 billion in the same period of 2024, with exports and imports declining by 3.6% and 2.8%, respectively.
