Croatia’s trade deficit narrowed to EUR 1.4 billion in October 2025 from 1.6 billion in the same month a year earlier, as export rose faster than imports. Exports jumped by 7.7% year-on-year to EUR 2.4 billion, while imports to grew at a softer 0.6% to EUR 3.8 billion. For the January-October period, exports grew 5.9% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling EUR 21 billion, driven by stronger shipments to both EU countries (6.7%) and non-EU countries (4.4%). Meanwhile, imports rose to 3.8%, supported by increased arrivals both from EU countries (1.6%) and non-EU countries (11.9%).
