The unemployment rate in Colombia fell to 9.0% in May 2025, down from 10.3% in the same month a year earlier. The employed population increased by 597,000 to 23.627 million compared to the previous year. The employment rate rose to 58.2% from 57.5%, while the labor force participation rate fell slightly to 64% from 64.1% a year earlier.
