Colombian imports climbed by 64.9 percent over a year to a near seven-year high of USD 5.7 billion, partly reflecting low base effects and amid the ongoing recovery. Inbound sales grew significantly for manufactured products (66.5 percent); fuels and extraction industries (105.9 percent) and agricultural products, food & beverages (39.5 percent). The largest import partners were China (25.2 percent of total imports), the US (20.1 percent), Brazil (7.1 percent) and Mexico (6.9 percent).
