Colombia’s trade deficit widened to $1.378 billion in June 2025 from $0.838 billion a year earlier, as imports rose faster than exports. Imports surged 14.5% to $5.337 billion, mainly due to a 18.7% increase in manufactured goods. Agricultural products, food, and beverages imports also grew 8.6%, while fuel and extractive products fell slightly to $470 million. Meanwhile, exports increased at a softer 2.6% to $3.959 billion, as agricultural products, food, and beverages exports surged 35.6% and manufactured goods rose 6.6%, but fuel and extractive products dropped 16.9%.
