Food price inflation in Belgium accelerated sharply to 12.92% year-on-year in October of 2022 from 10.75% in the previous month. It was the highest reading since at least January of 2007, with notable price growth recorded for oils (23.8%); dairy products (16.3%), bread & cereals (14.4%), meat (12.5%) and fish (11.8%).
