Food prices in Bahrain advanced by 10.7% year-on-year in September of 2022, after increasing by 10.4% in the previous month. It was the highest reading in four months, mainly due to soaring prices of oils & fats (26.9% vs 33.6% in August); fish and seafood (21.7% vs 8%); meat (14.5% vs 13.6%) and bread & cereals (7.6% vs 5.3%).
