ZAMICA began with the idea of not only providing liquidity for physical gold assets, but also offering interest-bearing crypto-gold tokens—similar to fiat savings products. Unlike typical gold-backed crypto projects that share transaction fee revenue among holders, ZAMICA aims to provide monthly fixed rewards to users who stake ZAM tokens(gold-backed token), mimicking traditional savings accounts. This structure helps reduce potential losses during gold price drops and can even enhance overall returns. Instead of purchasing and storing physical gold directly, ZAMICA secures ownership by subscribing to gold deposit products offered by banks that already hold gold reserves. These deposits not only back the issuance of ZAM tokens, but also enable banks to use the secured capital to fund various public lending programs — such as small business loans and education financing — ultimately improving the quality of life for underserved communities in Central Asia.
