South Sudan's central bank cut its benchmark lending rate to 12% for 2022 from 15% in last year, intended to reduce the overall cost of financing extended to private sector by banks and other financial institutions. The Bank of South Sudan produces monetary policy statements twice a year. Normally at the end of the year (December) to provide direction for monetary policy stance for the next six months and the second statement is produced in June to cover the remaining months of the year.البيانات التاريخية
